Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TIFA Connect collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit tifaconnect.com or contact us about TIFA Connect. It applies to visitors and prospective customers of our website. Customers using the TIFA Connect application receive a separate privacy notice as part of their service agreement.
1. Who we are
TIFA Connect is a service of TIFA Life Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
Registered company: TIFA Life Ltd, company number 15145866
Registered address: Unit 23, The Courtyard South Court, Woodlands, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, England, BS32 4NH
ICO registration: ZC131131
Contact: michael@tifa.co.uk
We are the controller of personal data we collect through this website. This Privacy Policy applies to our processing of personal data on tifaconnect.com.
2. What information we collect
We collect personal information in three ways.
Information you give us through forms. When you complete the register-interest form, the contact form, a Talk-to-Michael form, or a Download-PDF request, we collect your name, role, organisation, email address, phone number (if you choose to provide one), the current software your service uses (if you disclose it), and any message you send. We also record how you reached the form (the source attribution).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting provider (Vercel) logs standard server information: your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, the time of your visit, and the page you came from. We use this for security monitoring and operational performance.
Calendar bookings. When you book a demo through Calendly, you provide your name, email, and meeting time. Calendly is the controller of the personal data you give them. We receive the booking details.
We do not currently use cookies for marketing or analytics. Essential cookies may be set by Calendly when you book a demo through their service. If we add analytics cookies in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and introduce a cookie banner.
3. Why we use your information
We use your personal information for the following purposes.
- To respond to your enquiry. When you submit a form, we use the information to reply, schedule a demo, send the resources you requested, and answer your questions about TIFA Connect.
- To explore a commercial relationship. We may follow up with you about TIFA Connect's pricing, features, founding-partner programme, and whether the platform fits your needs.
- To improve our service. We use aggregated and anonymised information about how the website is used to improve content and structure.
- To meet legal and security obligations. We monitor server logs to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
We rely on the following lawful bases under the UK GDPR.
- Consent. When you submit a form, you are consenting to us using your information to reply.
- Legitimate interests. We have a legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving our website, and in following up with prospective B2B customers who have contacted us. We will not pursue these interests where your rights override them.
- Legal obligation. Where we are required by law to retain or disclose information.
4. Who we share your information with
We use a small number of trusted third parties to operate the website and process enquiries.
- Supabase stores form submissions on our behalf, in the EU (Ireland).
- Resend sends email notifications when forms are submitted, from a domain we own.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides server logging.
- Calendly schedules demos when you book through their service.
- Microsoft 365 receives email sent to our team addresses.
Each of these providers acts as a processor on our instructions, except Calendly, which is a separate controller for the booking data you give them. None of them sell your personal data.
We do not share your personal information with marketing partners, advertising networks, or data brokers.
If you become a customer of TIFA Connect, additional processors are involved in operating the application (including Anthropic for AI features, with Zero Data Retention configured). These are documented in the customer privacy notice and our Data Processing Agreement, separate from this website Privacy Policy.
5. International data transfers
Our hosting and primary storage is located in the EU (Ireland). Some processors (including Resend and Calendly) operate from the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards: the UK addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or transfers to countries that the UK government has deemed adequate.
6. How long we keep your information
We retain personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
- Form submissions and follow-up correspondence: kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you become a customer (in which case retention is governed by your service agreement) or you ask us to delete it earlier.
- Server logs: typically retained for 90 days for security purposes.
- Calendly bookings: retained according to Calendly's own retention policy and our internal records of customer interactions.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time. See Section 7. We will delete it unless we are required by law to keep it.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal information.
- Right of access. Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Right to erasure. Ask us to delete your information.
- Right to restrict processing. Ask us to pause or limit how we use your information.
- Right to object. Object to us using your information for a particular purpose.
- Right to data portability. Ask us to send your information to another organisation in a machine-readable format.
- Right to withdraw consent. Where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at michael@tifa.co.uk. We will respond within one month of receiving your request.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

8. Children
The TIFA Connect application supports services for young people aged 16 and over. The marketing website (tifaconnect.com) is not directed at young people. It is a business-to-business website for supported accommodation providers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 through this website.
