TIFA Connect was built inside TIFA Life, a supported accommodation provider operating across South Wales, because the available software wasn't good enough.
We ran the service first. Then we built the software.
TIFA Life was founded in 2024 to provide supported accommodation for young people aged 16+ across South Wales, in Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, and Cardiff. Within months it had grown to 30 properties and 60+ young people in placement. Over 150 supported since opening.
Every platform we evaluated was built for regulated residential care or domiciliary services. None of them understood how supported accommodation actually works. The shift patterns, the welfare check cadence, the LA commissioner relationships, the placement economics. We spent more time working around the software than working in it.
So we built our own. TIFA Connect was developed inside TIFA Life. Not as a side project, but as the actual system the team uses every day to run the service. Every feature exists because we needed it. Every workflow was tested in a live operation before it shipped.
In 2026 we began making it available to other providers. The team that built it still runs a live service. That doesn't change.
